RMS NIAGARA - A state of collapse

Congratulations to dive team “Niagara 2024” (Andrew Simpson, Darryl Lowndes, David Pearce) and a big thank you! to DIVE New Zealand + DIVE Pacific magazine for the excellent article about the 120m dive to the wreck of the RMS Niagara. Each of three Inspo CCR divers and had an Insta360 One RS 1-inch 360 Edition camera mounted on their scooter.

The 360 camera allowed the dive team to record the condition of the wreck while scootering past it, without having to make any adjustments or adjust their course. The dual 1-inch sensors captured footage with excellent clarity and very little noise even at a depth of 120m / 393 feet.

The expedition was self-funded. Dive support was provided by skipper Pete Mesley (Lust4Rust) and support divers Anne Harper and Evin Brown.
